  • The Orb – A Huge Ever Growing Remix [Big Life] 

Long-running UK electronic group, originally formed by Jimmy Cauty (of The KLF) and Alex Paterson in 1988, that grew out of a love of ambient music and dub, soundscapes and science fiction. Due to the early work in this style,

The Orb became pioneers of the early-90’s-born “ambient house” genre. The group’s lineup has shifted over the years, with Alex being the only consistent member.

Future Groove features underground club sounds between Trance, Techno, House and Progressive.


  • Fortunato & Montresor – Imagine [Bedrock Records]

British electronica label started by Nick Muir and John Digweed in 1999.


  • Pearson Sound – NSWL007 [Night Slugs]

Producer, DJ and mix engineer based in London, UK. One of the three founders of the record label Hessle Audio.


  • Subspecies – From Da East [Strictly Rhythm]

Prolific New York City-based house label established in 1989 by music executive Mark Finkelstein and A&R Gladys Pizarro.

Subspecies are Armand Van Helden, Eugenio Sanchez.


  • Spacetime Continuum – Freelon [Astralwerks]

Jonah Sharp aka Spacetime Continuum signed to Astralwerks in 1991. His first few albums under this alias were a combination of ambient, techno, and idm.

His last album under this alias “Double Fine Zone” shows a move to a more organic jazz influenced sound. He has also collaborated with the likes of Terence McKenna, Tetsu Inoue, and Bill Laswell.


  • VA – 13th Moon – Journey Into Future Consciousness [Interchill Records]

Interchill Records is an independent downtempo/electronica record label based between Salt Spring Island and Nelson on the west coast of British Columbia, Canada.

Founded in 1994 by Andrew Ross Collins, Interchill got its start in the multi-sensory chill rooms of the early rave scene in Montreal. Originally launched to showcase and export Canadian ambient music to the rest of the world, the record label grew from a string of EP’s to the seminal compilation ‘Northern Circuits’ and on to encompass music from producers around the planet. Their styles vary between dub, world-fusion, psy-chill, ambient and lounge.

Record label founded in 1989 by Saskia Slegers, aka Miss Djax.


  • David Morley – Stardancer EP [Apollo]

Born 6th August 1965 in London. Moved to Belgium when 8 years old. Played in various Bands from 14 until 18 in Belgium and England. At the age of 19 he started working in a Brussels studio, learning engineering and studying guitar. Late 1980’s, met Renaat Vandepapeliere from R & S Records.
