“This mix is inspired by the atmosphere of Champs Elysées, and its relationship to Dance music in the 2000’s and today.
I’ve been djing in this area of Paris for some time now, and it made me love to play extended sets, 4/5 hours usually, trying to slowly build a whole vibe, more than playing banger after banger.
I wanted to make a mix that is 100% me, that people can listen to and straight away get the idea of what would it sound like to hear me play.
It’s also an ode to the early Champs Elysées days of dance music, with the Respect is Burning parties in the 2000’s especially. All the great French and international DJ’s were playing there and were bringing their own sound in a very motley, eclectic vibe, I love it.”
