David Alvarado’s essential records

American-born, Los Angeles-raised DJ, producer and artist David Alvarado continues a career spanning three decades and is still considered one of electronic music’s best-kept secrets. He is best known for his work on some of the world’s most respected labels, including Ovum, Ultra, Peacefrog, Yoshitoshi, Plastic City, Strictly Rhythm, Guidance and on his own Bomb Records label with Kenneth Graham, better known as Sun Children.

David began his DJ career running a renegade sound system and playing underground parties in the Los Angeles area. He quickly carved a niche for himself in the American electronic music scene with his unique style and signature music selection.

The fusion of new technologies and the creation of a DJ/Live experience has made him one of the most respected talents in American house music history.
